Best place would be the EA store, you can download the client now and they'll email you a key before headstart.

I don't mean to sound crass but....are you dumb? Direct2Drive has ZERO to do with the DRM's SOME of their games come with. It's the company who owns the game that attaches said DRM to the game and then gives the .exe to Direct2Drive to sell. Blaming them for DRM's is like blaming SOE for global warming (I'd do it too, just to prove a point).

That being said, I pre-ordered off Direct2Drive as MMO titles NEVER come with DRM. Unlimited # of downloads for MMO titles, since you can't pirate them lol.

ps: I wish I had an avatar as cool as Heretique's :(((

you DO understand that by buying ANYTHING off em you actually support em ?, i couldnt care less if some of their games is drm free, but you still support the model, you think they work for free ?. and the DRM is enforced upon the dev to be ABLE to release games over their model, of course they dont develop it themselves. they are just a distributor with a bad idea.

i could draw you a flowchart of it ?

I would really hold off picking this game up.  Much like CrimeCraft it is going to have a very short full retail shelf life.

    Momo sucks, I have proof.

well its really just to waste a few hours , not like its alot of cash. played the kttc event and i really like these kinda games just when i have a few hours to play and cant get into my more time consuming games, but what attracts me most about it is that they are honest about the game before the release, something not so usual these times. they arent trying to hide what the game is and i really like that. and in my mind they need to be rewarded for it, hence im getting it right away.

its plain and simple fast casual action =)

This is your opinion, I've played a ton of mmos and to be honest the first day playing it I HATED it, mostly because I dont play alot of fps but the more you play and with groups! Its so much fun :D But if it doesnt work out, it doesnt work out I still had fun playing and if not for long at least for alittle. Can't say that much for any other mmo out right now. *shrugs* But with how many people played kttc and how many people liked it. I don't see this game having a short life.

I enjoyed the KttC event and I do realize that it is a risk buying this game but it is a risk I have no problems making.  I hope a lot of people buy the game if only to make a statement to other software companies that many of us are very tired of the same old thing.  Yes, this game has holes but it does have potential.  More importantly to me it is not fantasy based or a WoW clone.
