all for 75 dolalrs really temptings since just cause 2 and batman alone would be 80.. just 2 problems.. would I ever play these things? and I have no hard drive space...Should I do it? lol
The first question is the main question you need to answer.
The harddrive space issue isn't an issue at all. Once you purchase a game via steam it's tied to your account. So long as you can still log into your account, you can download it whenever, and as many times as you want, so long as you can still connect to your steam account. So just download a few at a time, play them until you get bored, then uninstall and download some more.

I realize the sale is already over but if you haven't played Batman: Arkham Asylum and have any interest in it at all then it's an absolute must. It's easily the best batman game ever and probably the best comic-to-game adaptation ever. The handful of minor gripes I had were far outweighed by the fun I had playing it. Basically felt like a Metroid game with Batman in the driver's seat, and getting the voice over talent from the animated series was simply icing on the cake.
One of those rare games that I didn't regret paying a premium for.
The morning sun has vanquished the horrible night.
I've only played the batman demo.. dunno why I didn't buy it then.. and I hate staring at all those steam games that arn't installed on my list, feels like wasted money.. lol
Batman plays like Metroid 0_o? Well thanks, I think I'm gonna get this package once I clear a bit more space.. Btw I really recommened transformers war for cybertron it also has the voice over from the orgional cartoon cast for optimus prime and a few others i think .

I'm sorry I should have clearer. I meant it had the appeal of a lot of area to explore, lots of little secrets to find and plenty of upgrades to get. Not that you actually go around with a blaster on your arm wasting aliens.

You can download your game whenever /wherever you want.. LAN party at a friends house? using somone else's computer? No problem
Steam overlay is great.. invite friends to games, check the time, forums for each game, web browse and so on all while playing any game.
Steam profiles and community tabs actually create a sense of community especially with Valve games.
You don't need the disc to play
You can still play in offline mode when steams down if you set it up right
Although I do buy the occasional disc copy of some of my games just out of paranoia of Valve going bankrupt or steams servers exploding etc.. just in case..
I can only recommend killing floor, that's for sale today on steam for only a few bucks. I already bought it myself during the x-mas sale and never regretted it. My buddy, who rarely buys games, saw me playing Killing Floor and then bought it too.
The game is pretty simple but fun coops FPS. You play in a group of about 6 people on some map. The maps are pretty diverse. You have wide open maps, cramped tunnels, large buildings, long streets and whatnot. The graphics ain't up to date, but are ok. Pretty bloody and gory. Anyway, you then start killing zombies and other freaks coming from all sides, trying to survive together with your group. When you killed a wave, you can spend the money you earned on new equipment. After a certain amount of waves, the endboss spawns and either kicks your ass or you kill him. Rinse and repeat.
You have a bunch of different classes. Medic, demo-man, sniper, berserker (melee), uhm... commando, supporter and probably some I forgot. Ah, fire-guy too. And maybe someone else. I like that you can improve all specs (classes) no matter which you play. If deal melee damage, you improve your berserker class. If you heal, you improve your medic. If you weld doors shut or open, the supporter. And so on. Classes on a higher level get stronger in all kinds of ways. Like faster reload time, spawning with a better weapon, faster movement, reduced damage, higher ranged, more ammo, grenades turn into pyro-grenades and so on. The music is nice too. The number of enemy types is not too high (like only about... I don't know... 7? 8? Something like that) but that's ok.
For that little money the game is great. You can just log in every now and then and blast zombies apart. It also got all kinds of user-made maps or mods allowing more players or whatnot.
Is killing floor worth playing if you have left4dead or left4dead 2? seems similar?
I didn't play left4dead, so can't judge on that. I read they are pretty similiar, so I guess if it's worth buying depends on how much money you got to spend and how much you like zombie shooters. I'd just check out a youtube video about killing floor to get a better impression.
After spending waaay to long thinking about it I decided not to get the SE/edios pack.. I got Splinter Cell conviction and am waiting for Batman to hopefully go on sale solo. Figured quality over quantity?
Out of curiosity what did everybody else get if anything?

Personally I find Killing Floor significantly more entertaining and replayable than L4D. I've logged well over 100 hours in killing floor, and only 15 in L4D2/ Granted I've owned killing floor longer, but L4D didn't feel very replayable, where as killing floor is because you can rank up in the specializations, and it's just plain zombie killing carnage, rather than constantly fleeing with your tail between you legs like in L4D.
$5 is more than worth it for killing floor in my opinion.
I want the THQ pack for a few select things, that probably amount to 100$ individually, becuase I already have HALF or more of the games on the list. Kind of a waste that I cant buy any of them individually
...tempting... But I hate Steam with a passion. I can't even use my games on DVD (I have 3) using Steam for DMR when Steam is down / under maintenance.
I'll stay as far away from Steam as possible. Which means NO purchaces from their store, and (if possible) no games using Steam for DMR. Okay, 2 I had for my b-day, and one I can play without having to acutally logon to Steam.
...though I think BioShock 2 is nice for € 14.99
Steam only has to be online once every 30 days. Otherwise, you can just go into offline mode and play even if you don't have an internet connection. Why do some haters just look for stuff to whine about?

Haters gonna hate, I wish steam had every single game available in their store, although I must admit, steam has the worst support service ever.

Steam's support is like flying First Class compared to D2D's traveling via cargo hold, possibly even the landing gear well....
Crazy good deals. THQ pack is absolutely insane and would have been all over it had I not already owned half of the titles. Was still tempted as I wanted metro which is the price of the pack currently anyway by itself and is included in the pack. Might look at it later.
Picked up Bioshock 2 and some minor stuff I've been eyeing that just went dirt cheap as well.

"you are like the world revenge on sarcasm, you know that?"
One of those great lines from The Secret World
Never used the Play website but
There are some good advantages to steam tho..
You can download your game whenever /wherever you want.. LAN party at a friends house? using somone else's computer? No problem

Let's play Fallen Earth (blind, 300 episodes)
Let's play Guild Wars 2 (blind, 45 episodes)
