log off bug?

Ok, if you log off in space your ship can remain in place and will take damage. Just put a blue to half shields : /

Anybody know how frequent this is? A cruel joke by CCP? Not sure if I like this or not. Being alone 8 to 12 jumps from any blues in a flying brick will make you think about it : ?

Moderately frequent. I've heard of it a few times now and it has apparently been happening more frequently since Tyrannis.

Gms will ignore reimbursement petitions as usual, due to their logs showing nothing.

corpmate of mine logged off at 9PM in his carrier in a safespot and the ship was destroyed at like 3AM...

Even the attackers said on the kb comment "thx to CCP"

He petitioned when he got back and got his carrier reimbursed,  strangely enough just the ship and not the modules.
