Any valid rumors of a trial yet?

I have yet to purchase the game, and quite frankly, unless they run a 'Super Sale' and drastically cut the box price, I will be forced to wait around for a free trial.

 

So, any word on either of these occuring?

 

I mean, I would pay 19.99 for the client and 30 days of playtime now, even in its reportedly horrid state just to check it out. I can justify possibly pissing away 20 bucks for an experiment, but not 50.

 

Your thoughts?

And no, there are no rumors about it either.

There was a free trial just some weeks ago. I doubt we will see one before the end of this summer. It wont be for a while, I believe.

It was no free trial but open beta, if I am not misstaken.

Now further to the point...

 

I'm tellin' ya, if SV had a mega weekend client sale (19.99), I think a lot of us On-The-Fence'rs would take a chance. I know I would.

TBH the game is a fucking mess, i would stay away from it for a good month or 2....if it last that long.
