Downloadable or Discounted PS3 for PC buyers

Honestly i dont know baout a lot of you but throuhgout the development of this game i have wanted to play it on the PS3 first and have the PC avaliable as a backup, but thince there is 6 months between PC and PS3 release i honestly dont want to wait that long and want to play now.

 

Will sony atleast be offering a "play disk" for the PS3 so those of us that purchased the game for PC and already pay a subscription dont have to purchase a whole nother game lisence in order to play the same game same account same toon on the PS3.

 

Even better a downloadable client for the PS3 so we dont have to buy the same game twice in order to enjoy it how we want to.

Get your money back if you pre-ordered it or whatever. and go buy your self a pre-ordered copy of this game on th PC

I honestly don't see them doing this.

 

However I would be for them letting you use a download client if you have already bought an account to play. (generally MMOs consider your big initial purchase is the access cost to those files and not the files themselves) Kind of like WoW, you have access to download the game anywhere and everywhere, but until you buy that initial account access cost the files aren't any good.

 

Sorry if it is still confusing, tried to give a few examples lol xD

i don't know how much involvment sony would have with any work of the final production.

the pro's and cons i can see them having for releasing the pc and ps3 editions

more time for them to tweak bugs out of the ps3 edition since it's sorta doutful that they can release patch's to fix things (i haven't played the PS3 one so i'm unaware of those details)

yeah the waiting game is always the worst for any subject audiance. as it is we're still waiting for Huxley to be released and that was awsome new's for its time, now i can atleast name 2 games who beat them to a market that was standing open.

 

i do agree with these thoughts tho the PS3 and PC editions should be on the very same release date. that action would atleast keep all of the audiance happy and keep the hype.  my hope's to them settling everything and being able to release them both.
