question about games.

you could say im pretty new to mmorpgs's, i first got into it when Everquest came out but i only got as far as scars of velious and ruins of kunark, this was due to my computer not running very well and the fact that i live in turkey where mmorpgs arent very common. im finally getting a new laptop from america and a mmorpg with it and i was wondering what mmorpg will keep me busy and entertained like everquest did, but doesnt necessarily have to be everquest 2 also i have cable, which means im also looking for a game that can run fine on cable connection . could i get a few suggestions on which game i should buy?

There are a lot of good mmorpgs out there.  This sit also helps to narrow down your choice.  I have played several, AO EQ AC1 AC2 FFXI DAOC and currently COH and WOW.  It all depends on what your are style is and what type of mmorpg u like. COH is a great game to just go in hack um up have fun SuperHero style, while games like WOW EQ2 and FFXI require oalot more time to develop a unique char.  I really like WOW right nw and truely enjoy the total gameplay you get from it. Hope I could help and do some homework first before you jump in.

ive done alot of research, but you cant truely know until you've played it or someone else has played it and told you about it.

Yeah,, I agree with Bliss.   Much depends on you, your game play style, and the amount of time and energy you wanna put into the game.  If you liked EQ then, chances are you will like it now.  Or.... You can take a ride on the wild side and get into a game with some PvP and see how you like that.  Either way, glad you gettin a better system and coming back.
