PR Blunder (again)

As an ex EU subscriber i received an email on 30th June stating all current and past EU subscribers would receive 2 weeks free play on the new Mythic EU servers after the 7th July.

I was keen to take up this opportunity to see what improvments had been made sinces its been over 1 year since i subscribed last. I have a  40/40 Warrior Priest.

I now read on the EU forums from various sources that only current subscribers will get the 2 weeks free play. So why the hell send out emails to all previous subscribers stating the opposite ?!

I posted a message on official EU forums as above and its been deleted !

Who is in charge, the left hand dosent know what the right hand is doing, what a shambles and wasted opportunity !

    There is one fail proof way to check this.

    Go here https://accounts.eamythic.com/ login with your eu usename with _eur after. So if your username was Hello it would now be Hello_eur

    Andy confirmed on irc last night that all accounts will be activated.  GOA said it wouldnt but Mythic are incharge.

    I am a former player and i got free time. If you don't get yours you should make a ticket.

    However, you will probably not be able to play your Warrior Priest yet, unless that WP was on one of the Karak-Azgal or Karak-Norn servers. All the other servers had closed down and when they did the transfer they prioritized the characters from active servers. But they have said that characters from dead servers will be tranfered too and that will happen before the end of the free time.

    Now I'm a little concerned because I'm getting 'authenication failed' messages and unable to login. I just reinstalled the game. I can get into my account only via the war.eu site which is supposed to be shut or closing down. The other account management link is blocking me.
