You cant get out of tank, only thing you can do is zoom basically look more closely your tank when you're in garage.

Im going to watch this one. Sure theres heavy WoW-influence, like the name of the game and "tank" progression, but you need to try sometime, but I'm sure these guys goes back to their roots what's wargaming... or do they go. Thats the question.

If they dont really blow this this is going to be ok fun. Tank shooter with good graphics and I think I read there's destructible environment like you can blow up houses, roll over some trees. Who doesnt want to do that with Tiger or Panther.

So basically it is just tanks with no people running around?   Ummm...why play this when I can play a better game called BF2?   BF2 is deeper with better game play options and I can get out of the tank.

It could definitely appeal to mechanised warfare fanatics granted enough depth and customization. I think the concept has potential. Of course it could all go to shit real quick depending on how they implement their cash shop and manage to keep battles dynamic.

I don't mind giving this a shot (for free of course).

But seriously, this game delivers on the tanky tank aspect. Lots of tanks by my understanding. Get out of the tanks? Only point of that would be to get into a better tank.

With so much product flooding our gamer's market its hard to sample them all, never mind getting in depth and personal with more than a handful. We would all love a far reaching game with many options and details. Packed full of content. But our consumerist little minds can't grab onto more than a few straws at a time.

Themed games. You get what they promised.

Tanks, bigger tanks, and more tanks.

Better to target a market niche with some assured success rather than take on a tried and tested idea and share the competition.

Unfortunately for them, tanks were never my thing.

Im still excited. Lack of customization and all tanks are single-player are my biggest drawbacks. Every video I've seen all tanks are boring grey. They said they add infantry later I think they should add planes and turrets instead or maybe some mortal sections. What really blows me away that they are going to add Historical Campaign later. Who want to play the Battle of Kursk!

I remember a few months ago in NF people talking about wishing there was a tank version of that game. Between Armored cars, Self Propelled Artillery, and just straight up battle tanks, there is a lot of options to be had. Like I said I have a blast in Navy Field but with the option to use cover, terrain, and 3 dimensional space could add a lot of strategy into the game play. I am a little concerned about it being faction based. No complaints about balance when nation only matters for your own ship choice, not for what team you are on.

 No its not faction based, its clan based and clans can have tanks from every 3 faction and you can have 1 tank from each faction in your garage if you want, but you cant mix upgrades like you cant put Tiger's gun to T-34 if you want.  Invidivuals who arent in clan can join for clan wars as mercs if needed. I really think theres going to be lots of strategy and thats the best part of it, but I could be wrong, FFS if we circle around one objective, but hey they are wargamers they couldnt do it, right. Survival mode is going to be so awesome. Its basically last man standing game and once you're destroyed you cant join back in fact you cant use your tank for next game either, theres short cooldown, you need to go to garage and take another tank, but anyway I think if its really strategy game, those two who're standing last must have a great feeling.  Its really man to man!

 

Why I really lose interest rapidly if they really add infantry like I read.

Thanks for the reply, that is pretty great news. And yes I really hope there isn't any infantry. We don't need a half assed Battlefield, i want a straight up tank vs tank battles.

 No problems. They've said its arcane game, all this wow-influence, then infantry... Tank progression... Gow know what we get, but basically if infantry are some super-humans and can take more than one shot or even from tanks. This could turn to be ok game.

I'm doing the CB right now, and what I can tell you it's a lot like Counterstrike with tanks. If you charge in stupidly, you'll get nailed by an SPG. You have to think and hide and plan and figure out where they will come from. You have to know what your tank is capable of, and pick your targets as well as you can. If you die during the mission, you're done until its over. If you want a new tank, you're going to work for it. You may be able to unlock that Tank Destroyer soonish, but you're going to be fighting to earn enough money to buy it. This game does not hold your hand much. So far, I love it.

well they are planning to put infantry in the game at a later date also more tanks from britan japan and many more countrys and the tanks have mancine guns on and they said themself there putting infantry in later

 

weather or not you can be the infantry i dunno

i think infantry will be mostly to defend your citys your guild/clan capture if thats the case then im all for infantry but i carn't really see infantry running about when evrybody else is in panzers or t-44's can you??
