Final Fantasy XIV Release & Giveaway

Hey everyone. As some of you may know, Square Enix has recently announced the release dates for Final Fantasy XIV and they are as follows:
- Collector's Edition (PC) - September 22nd, 2010
- Standard Edition (PC) - September 30th, 2010
- Standard Edition (PS3) - March, 2010
All are now available for pre-order at Gamestop. The Collector's Edition includes a ton of extra goodies ranging from in-game items to a fancy booklet, etc. Closed beta is schedule to start within the next few weeks and it's not too late to sign up for that. For those of you who picked up Final Fantasy XIII on PS3, you should have a code you can redeem to gain access to the PS3 beta, which should be coming up fairly soon as well.
Also, some good news, in celebration of the FFXIV release and FFXIVVault's one year anniversary, they're giving away three copies of the game (including Collector's Edition) for free. The only catch is that you do have to be a member of the site and make a certain amount of posts to be eligable. There's different ways to obtain each of the three awards. For further details, just stop by FFXIV Vault and click on the big banner at the top pertaining to the contest.
