first off big point makes cheap simple games and have an iffy history with the way they treat hackers and cheaters, basicly as long as you pay they dont care.
How BSG got this type of treatment is beyond me.
The only way I see this game working would be in a freespace type game. RTS wouldnt work as you only have 3 types of fighters and only one Battle Ship.

I think I'll take a stab at this. This is a browser game so it has facebook written all over it, they will want to integrate it into it in some shape or form. As big of a BSG fan as I am I hope this fails worse than SGW.

It will be a cheap-sellout game just for the devs to get a quick buck because if the IP (just like STO).

No.
all I'm going to say is, don't knock it till you try it. unity is kick ass.
I am not sure what browser you are referring too.
I can currently use Unity with:
I.E. 8
FireFox 3.6
Chrome 7.0
I am sure that there are other browsers that it may not work with, but it doesnt seem to be something tht most people can not use.
