Question

Imperatorian

Are there Artifact/Really really rare pieces of equipment in the game, of which only few exist per server? And are they only for the higher levels or are there some for lower levels too? Do they have a special name or color? Because basically gathering items like these is the sole reason I play MMORPG's and loved Diablo 2 so much, for example I was the proud owner of a legendary T21 rifle and 1 legendary power hammer, and 2 full RIS sets and a mandolorian helmet in SWG. Its why I stayed playing that game.

yes, there are definately legendary quest and/or dropped items, very rare items, and "epic" weapons and armor. (done by questing)

Ah cool.

Too bad they can be acquired through question too for the most part, that means most people will have them eventually I guess.

I always like gathering rare items to sell them for a big profit.

I am guessing.. like in eqlive.. that there will be rare drops off things.. theres already a system of rare drops.. where things drop what one might call unrelistac items like 1/20 or so kills.. they drop in a treasure chest, usually trapped.. wolves and such drop pelts unless its a chest, then that can hold weapons, armor.. anything..

There are also rare crafting drops and rare material harvests which craftsman can use to make some pretty unique and very powerful items.
