Pre-order digital download?

in Final Fantasy XIV

Can someone tell me if there is any way to pay for a digital download like Aion?

 

I dont live in usa,and the shipping cost 50 dollars.

 

*If there is a digital download,its only for the non-collectors edition?

    I didn't see a digital download option.  I saw lots of options for getting the discs from UK stores.

    There should be a digital download, its my prefered way of buying. All those stupid boxes and disks just laying around in my house are of no use to me.

     I'm sure as the release date nears, that option will become available :)

    I'd guess it'll become available on Steam sooner or later.
