There are no server separations of any kind for XIV. There aren't even regional servers. Everyone, regardless of location or platform, plays on the same servers.

The official benchmark is bugged as far as I'm concerned. I think it purposely drops a few k to seem, I dunno, impressive.

My girlfriend is getting a PC version to play. If it doesn't suck, I'll get a PS3 one to play just cuz I like the idea of MMOing with a controller.

Age of Conan is a rather taxing game is I do say so myself, and if I can get that to play all bells and whistles, especially with it's system flaws, then why should FFIV not work? It is better programed as far as I heard, so the fact that i was scoring in the 2ks was absurd to me.
I wanted to play it on PS3 for something a little different but alas it's not coming out until March. So I'm now just going to build a new PC and use my PS3 pad on it.

What makes you think they can't make it run on the ps3, I've been hearing it is coming for the ps3 (though I'm not really checking for this game myself). I'll try it if it comes to PS3 but no way my pc is going to run it and I won't upgrade just for this game.
The Cell processor ia actually a very powerful one for certain Computing tasks, I just think the PS3 version hit a hiccup during development hence the delay. Still on the bright side what a great opportunity for a content patch and new players when it does come next year.
Well why "if ever?" Is there some fatal coding flaw that won't allow for this game to work on PS3 or something?! Cause I have a ton of friends that want to play, but they got PS3s. If they can't play then it looks like I'll just be doing this one on my own.

PC only for me. I haven't purchased a console since the original Playstation. I think that I still have it somewhere...

I'm pretty much straight PC. I like the PS3, but sadly it is not my cup of tea.

Voted PC but I'll likely be buying the PS3 version when it releases as well so I can play on whichever platform I want.
