how does one get into the beta?
Hi there, my freind recieved and email this morning from ffxiv-noreply@square-enix.com stating that he has been invited to "2nd phase of alpha" which seemed kind of weird, and the overly awareness of how many fake Blizzard emails there have been going to our emails, we was wondering wether a beta test can confirm its fake or real based on what little information I can give, if anything breaks NDA please tell me.
I wont post the dev link that is linked the the email, as im guessing thats under NDA. but is that email adress the legit formatting? (thats the way to find if its fake or not?)
There is no Beta Key, now I understand that some may and some may not include this in the email.
Another point is, despite it saying "2nd alpha" at the beggining, it has this further in the email:

Ive seen rough schedules like that before posted on forums, so this makes me alittle more wary. I believe that Galka Avatar posting guy is in the beta, first time posting too! can you confirm our joy or fear? :P

Ya, they just copy-pasted the old beta invite form which was sent out during the second Alpha phase.
Your friend is definitely in the Beta.

2 out of 3 of us got emails so far, will find out if the other 2 have invites later, typical that the 2 that are least interested out of our group get invites >_> at least I can use it I guess!
got my invite but when i try to login i get this: You could not log in because the service account in question is not registered.
