Aika: Lead Nation System Arrives

Last Saturday night, the Aika Online 'lead nation system' came stealthily into the game  to the surprise of the lead nations of Alethius. It was not until the wee hours of Monday morning that an explanation from the dev team came online to inform players about the new arrival.

The lead nation system came into play during the latest update as the dev team prepares for the Ashes of Betrayal expansion. Under the new system, each Saturday, the server's lead nation will be determined by the game engine. Once the engine has identified the lead nation, alliances are broken and new ones cannot be formed. There are no buffs or bonuses associated with being the lead nation either.  If no clear leader can be determined by the engine, no lead nation will be identified for the week and alliances created will remain in place.

We hope this clears up some questions about the lead nation system. This system, along with the underdog nation system, will make Aika’s mass warfare more interesting and fun to everyone. Lead your nation to glory!

    love this idea the game should have been released like that from the start,but again it wont change the fact that in order for this title to be popular they should stop itemising this game for each state and instead just do a global version for english ,global version for korean ,global version for chinese etcthe way its itemised now its too fragmented.and we cant go on the global version its locked for the coutry that gets a small localised version.
