Macros in FFXIV

Will the macro system in ffxiv rival that of ffxi?

Does anyone have any info?

    No one has any info, except that it will be implemented. Sorry.

    Using LOL is like saying "my argument sucks but I still want to disagree".

    odd that no one on the forums here is talking about it. In my opinion it was one of the things that set FFXI apart from run-o-the-mill mmorgs.

    I did find this page. But it just confirms that there will be macros. like you said.

    This is interesting and it be great to know more about it, the only thing I would see that might be different would be the whole time deal where you could do a /wait 5 and it would wait 5 seconds to cast a certain spell or special move.

     

    Will just have to wait and see what they got in store for us this time.

     

    Cant have too much information out there or it will ruin the suprice and all...

    yea, all i think everyone knows at this point is that they will be in game. i hope they work as they did in ffxi. especially with as much weapon switching as there is gonna be.
