This company knows what it's in for and obviously it seems to be for the long run.  You need to either:

    - Do what it takes to meet said beta specs ( a dual 2.0 and a 9600, come on..)

    - Wait for the PS3 release.

    - Suck it up like an adult and find a title that plays on your rig.

It's sad to say, but the world owes you nothing. Progress will be made whether you resist or not.

All the opposition seems to come from seemingly jilted, bitter individuals. It's all futile ranting really.

    1) I slam those requirements, and yet its unplayable, hell I shouldnt have anything below 30 FPS on release at max settings 1080P or thier development team are dubbed terrible as far as im concerned.

    2) Right, so Ive got my £800 computer with great headphones, great monitors, great graphics.... so that I have to use my £250 PS3 slim that wont look half as good?

    3) Sqaure loses business, players lose community.

Defending them is pointless, this is a serious issue the beta is facing at the moment, if its not fixed on release then doom & gloom, or at least an empty shell is inevitable.

Is it really fun for you to be spewing venom over something you're obviously and vehemently against? How is this moaning going to change the reality that you simply cannot play the game?

    Just curious.

Honestly you can get a decent nvidia card for the game just a little over $100 - $120 at best buy

An upgraded CPU would be a bit expensive, but i know amazon at least has intel quad 2.66 ghz for roughyl $150

Assuming you have a job anyways, it would only take a few weeks to buy moderate upgrades to run the game.

No it ain't max settings but the point would be to make your computer run the game smoothly on at least medium settings.

Twisting things alittle are you not? its one thing to hype a game, but to be a rose tinted fanboy that cannot take real critism on real issues of a product is just annoying, im not spitting venom, I am stateing the current situation...

I'm asking for an explanation, but I know the real anwser, that they dont care about the Betas feedback, its purely a stress test, and that Sqaure Enix's repuation for being poor PC Game developers is once again showing through painfully, as much as I enjoy thier games.

This thread is a discussion, im just busting the chops of people in here that are being elitest about hardware, when currently the software is so problematic your baseless assumptions that people need to upgrade and SHOULD upgrade for an average current gen looking game is ridiculously defending a company that has a long way to go.
