Good And Bad?!?

Hey guys i brought everquest 2 yesterday and it is great, runs smooth, great grafix but there 1 thing that is getting 2 me its the fact that there are a few jaggies and ive always been 1 to pick up on the little things so i was wandering wot option it is in the game (if there is one) to make most or all of the jagged edges go away?? my grafix card is a GeForce 5700 LE 256mb its not the best but i know it should not have jaggies cos no other game i play does :P

P.S is the version of everquest 2 that is sold in europe hosted in europe or the usa where the usa servers are hosted?

it should be graphic resolution or lighting resolution. you can find these settings under the performance drop down box. make sure these are at max.

all severs are in america arnt they?

There's a German and a French server based in Amsterdam, and there will be one or two servers for English-European players in Amsterdam within a week or 2 or so.

I wonder why Amsterdam? Wouldn't it be better in London or so? Not that I complain, I live 15km from the servers heh.

Oh, and anti jaggies = Anti Aliasing, but I don't think you can activate it in game but you can in vid card options.

AA kills preformance I find.. and makes a small difference.. you only notice the jagged edges if your looking at like.. wood on the backdrop of the sea..and then if you really look.. all over :P

i just completely ignore them, but, if you want to kill your framerates you can turn on anti-aliasing x2 or x4 in your video card settings, but its going to drop your performance and probably make your video lag or stutter. also, moorgard said ALL of the servers are in the USA, unless they changed it, he did say all the French, German, and UK ones were based in the USA.

No, German and French ones are in Amsterdam, and the UK ones coming soon will be stationed in Amsterdam too. I'm pretty (90%) sure of that.

In thinking about it, it might be the simplest option to simply add another server in our AMS facility like someone suggested in another thread. Then we could allow a /movelog to that server. Players that wanted to stay on RunnyEye could do so, but with the knowledge that it would get patched along with our US servers. Have u guys tried AAx4, dont kill performance on mine at all.... i did play early in the morning, so the servers werent that full, but can anyone else try too cause i didnt even notice the diff
