Is the crafting system set up to be random skill ups like in ffxi or is there going to be a set xp bar for it, and will there be chances to fail?
5 million gil crafts were very very scary in ffxi. How will you know if someone is high enough skill to craft an item and not just be going for a skill up.
random skill ups, I dint like that so much, would liked to have seen a xp bar but ,what is in this game for that?

Fails should be part of the crafting system, but also a way to recover some of the ingredients if it failed...
For me the best crafting systems have a variable outcome, producing goods of different crafting quallity dependant on the crafters skill and some luck.
