Yes you can, but to do this you'll need a copy for each system.
Couldnt it be like every other mmo out there where as if u already own the game u can download it directly from your manage user account area. So say for instance u get the PS3 version. Thenw anted to play it on your pc as well.. i would ssume u just goto your account page and download it from pc. I cant imagine a company making u get 2 versions for 1 account.
This is pretty cool. I might actually not mind picking up 2 copies of the game just so I have the option of playing on my PS3 when I want to lounge around....and playing on the PC when I want to chat and be social with the keyboard.

They didn't say they aren't going to allow this... if you want to wait 6 months for the PS3 version in order to download the PC later then by all means have a blast.
well you can download the client from anywhere that has it but oyu cant buy the pc version and expect to get a free copy of the ps3 version
It worked that way with the 360/pc versions of FFXI. But you did have to own it for both to be able to use it. It got kind of irritating that you could only link one account to a gamertag for the 360 though. They made it so that if you owned it for 360, and wanted it on pc, you had to buy it for pc unless you pirated a copy of the game. So it doesn't seem likely that they will make it interchangable for free.
