Anything with aim based combat other than Fallen Earth, MO or Darkfall, that's either released or in open beta, and does NOT also have a miss roll >.>

Here everyone made such a big deal about DDO's being heavily instanced, but really you barely notice that.

The "Miss" spam doesn't hide the face of the mob enough for me to not notice my sword is clearly slicing through it and indeed not missing... I can't stand that. Unacceptable to me.

it seems realism is hard to implement.

Don't know if the missing goes away on later levels. Often on the starting levels you just missmissmissmissmissmissmissmissmiss 1 missmiss....

Well, The Chronicles of Spellborn is pretty good too bad it's almost dead :(

It was a no-go for me as well.

I would say Tera but it's still in the testing phase...sadly.

Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries...

yeah i'm just trying to find something to mess around with until tera comes out hehe

oh, dont suggest xsyon to me either plz&thx... that game doesn't even have what i would call combat in it yet... its an interesting game but i have no idea why they turned off /disabled nearly all of the features in it for this pre release phase i wasted money to participate in...

Vindictus should be launching soon if you like action / instanced fights.

Something very similar to DDO and it's control scheme is Return of Warrior (http://www.returnofwarrior.com/index.asp).

It's not listed here for some reason, found it by mistake awhile back, but unlike DDO i've left it installed ever since, simply because of the drop rates, gear with randomly generated stats/bonuses, and the open world with warring factions.

Should be fun though...god lets hope....

Granted, I'm just looking for fun in Vind and not a long term investment  :p

well the main thing keeping me from playing darkfall right now is how clunky the interface is and from what i saw in the mmohut first look for this game you're recommending, it would seem it's just as clunky, if not more (kinda seemed like a mix of the bad from MO and Darkfall's ui clunkiness) plus the graphics are a downgrade...

thx for the suggestion tho, that was one I had not heard of yet. let me know if you think of any others :)
