how big is the damn file??

i have bought 5 bucks steam ff11 and done all things now up to the part i need to update the game, it tells me 9 hours?? how big is the file ?? i mean 9 hours is awfully a long download? dont know if this is worth playing now???

It's the POL servers. Just stick with it. It's not a big deal. The new patch just came out and stuff.

whats a POL server?? i wouldnt mind downloading it but in australia we have limited download usage, i have 50GB to share between 3 people. Yes i know it sucks. 9 hours must be like 20GB?? and i thought by getting all expansion packs there wouldnt need that much download for update because you have install them?
You should have all the current stuff up to maybe a few updates. The Playonline server is capped at a certain speed pretty much. It's not that big actually. The whole game is like 10GB max. It just takes a while. Although, 9 hours is a pretty long time, unless you're on dial up. Either way, just wait it out. You won't be hitting your cap with this game.

haha nah im on ADSL+2. Well i got the game from steam for 5 bucks with all 4 exp packs. downloaded 8GB took about 3 hours. anyone out there got it from steam and going through the same as me?
