If they are just kill 10 then I wouldnt consider them any different then just grinding on mobs in a field... Not really the dynamic exicting content I hoped they would be. Hopefully this isnt right tho.
Dang can you imagine a 15 person leve for crafting, talk about making something that is epic. You better be making a sword that is a +15 sword since it took 15 people hehe. Cant wait to try and do a 15 man crafting leve, they better have it and it better be good cause I am going to be dissapointed if they dont!
I feel you Vesavius, I foresee a lot of camping by crystals and not actually doing leves at all. And yeah I would like a bit more to the game than that cause it will suck if its all a mob grind fest, while it will be a mob grind fest I think they need to at least make it a bit fun to do so.
The game is really really fun, everyone complaning bout controls and such , and for a bystander point of view is ok to complain , but when you actually get to play it and get the hang of thins is just way to much fun.
The UI and such lacks polish , but to be honest the main problem is LAG, nothin more. I whent so far north were there was nobady else and started fighting 3 mobs at once( as gladi yes shield is OP)and i can tell you just how fluid the game is. of course near were everyone else is the delay between , pressing button for action and the action happening was huge , and is why everyone crying bout so slow.The mage jobs seems to be having more problems than the melee or so it seems.As long as they tweak the UI some more and put a lot more money on the servers, we will have way faster battle sistem than FFXI by far.By the way the feeling of a free world and exploration is back, its just feels like such a huge world , even without jumping and swiming.The world itself is fantastic.
Back on topic, i didnt try the craft leves so i cant really speak much about that, and yes there are diverse type of leves .
Yeah there is always issue's when there are a couple of hundred players all in one spot, happens in every game, heck in WoW when there was a patch update and I went to a main city, Org or IF it was slow... but at that time I had a slower maching when I upgraded it was much better but even then it was slow in highly populated areas.

Esmackly what I am talking about, but this will make it really laggy, so what needs to happen is that they need to implement where there are crystals that spawn and disappear so that not everyone is concentrated in one spot. But I am only speculating here since I have not played but from some of those that post and are in Beta they said this is an issue and that when the 'healer' very losely used here since there is no true healer in game has no MP, they slow down and just wait on HP regen to happen. And it seems that this will be an issue because everyone uses Mana for one purpose or another. I guess you better have a huge mana pool in game later on cause it looks like you will be screwed if you dont. Or some mana stealing spells that you can use every time you fight something to stay topped off.
