All these positive reviews would have helped out earlier in the expac launch, alot of players already know what ROTGS is about and the direction Funcom is taking and have correctly jumped ship.
I quite like the direction the game is going. Now that we have plenty PVE post 80 they are focusing more on PVP for next update.
No they're not, they are focusing on their engine update first, any PvP updates won't be happening till much later in the year
Wicanna is always populated. AoC is not perfect, but it is the best MMO out, and the only (besides EVE) that does not feel like a kids game.
Yes it is, the reason for this is AoC is a PvE game now.
Fallen Earth doesn't feel like a kid's game. It's kinda fun too. Todays update includes the ability to flag yourself for open world pvp. Looking forward to that.
It also includes a plethora of things Funcom could learn from. For example; visible and directly accessible online 24/7 GM's.
I was intrigued by the FE-concept, but put off by (amongst others) the combat and lousy animations (The toons move like a drunk Boris Jeltsin in a Charlie Chaplin film).

So back to Age of Conan I went...
They updated the animations but they are still far behind AoC. But what Icarus have done with an infinitesimally small budget compared to what Funcom had available is nothing short of amazing. It does require time to retrain yourself. Once you kick your combo and fatalities addiction you realise that this is all AoC really has to offer
Open world pvp is a lot of fun too. Some filthy pig for example shot me in the face while I was at the auction house We had a laugh about it later. I can't be bothered unflagging myself for pvp every time I go into a city. Besides it's far more exciting that way, knowing that any moment there could be some sneaky bugger on a roof somewhere with a scoped sniper rifle.
Icarus simply have THE coolest GM's and Dev team in any mmo anywhere - EVER. This is no lie. Check them out HERE.
I was actually sad that Icarus was struck by the fact that they had to lose some staff, at least they had the balls to say that in public. FC just fired people behind curtains and acts like they're a big player, when in reality, FC is just an incompentent piece of doo-doo company.
Icarus and their product is way more worth $15 a month than AoC is. Thank god most players have already talked with their wallet and left AoC a hollow shell, only filled by their constant rubbish and promises that are never full-filled.
