Champions Online or Global Agenda?

I hit a wall, and I can't decide between Champions Online or Global Agenda. I enjoy both FPS and MMORPG's, but I can't decide. I want to play Champions for it's "Super Hero'ness".I want to play Global Agenda for it's PvP  playstyle like Team Fortress. I mainly want to play it as my alt game.  I'll create a decision on their end game. I have tired the Champions Online beta, and trial. I never tried the both the beta and trial of Global Agenda.

I want to know how the progression, end - game content, and how fun it was. Discuss away!

I shy away from CO myself, mainly because the gameplay mechanics and the "feel" of the game makes me want to puke. Very blocky, very "meh". I haven't had the chance to try GA though.

never even played champions online and really don't know much about it. I would recommend almost anything over global agenda. It seemed like a really bad  fps/ lobby game.

    Thats an easy one.

GA is alot cheaper and alot better than CO.

    If WoW = The Beatles
    and WAR = Led Zeppelin
    Then LotrO = Pink Floyd

GA has most bang for the buck on the market until 12AM EST tonight. so GA, hands down, if you like tactical shooters.

GA is definitely the better choice.

CO is a steaming pile of trash that Cryptic uses to swindle subs out of unsuspecting comic book fans. It has many, many flaws and very few pros to outweigh it's cons.

Checkout the trial of CO if you want, but I wouldn't waste my time personally, just get GA and start having some fun immediately.

Had both since their respective betas.   I still long on to CO at least 4-6 times a month, haven't been motivated to play GA in probably two months now.  Both games have improved since launch, though I haven't experienced GA's improvements first hand.

Overall I would say CO is the better game and has more replay value, but on the other hand GA has no monthly fee.

Don't listen to all the QQ from the trolls.  Cryptic is the latest pinata, and all the "cool kid" beat it mercilessly without regard for facts or reason.  STO is a horrible steaming pile of poo, but CO is a good game.

After buying ga, there is no monthly fee.

    Cryptic makes amazi...lol couldn't finish.

I have both game as well and I find I log into Champions Online more often than Global Agenda.  I finshed the new sandstorm content in less than a day.

GA by a long shot. CO barely lasted me a week, it was really frustrating and a waste of my money.

GA I played for a couple months, I've ran out of things to do, but with the quality and frequency of content upgrades, I will no doubt be back playing it eventually.

after 6 or so years, I had to change it a little...

    Seriously CO, by miles.

GA is a pile of ****, with next to nothing to do and not even a mmorpg.  CO, while not having a great start has improved by bounds.  It sounds like these guys haven't played it since its launch.  MMOs evolve, and while still niche CO has been growing since they released Revelations, while receiving positive responces.  You can also set it up, to use FPS targetless type controls.

However, I'd suggest you download the demo.  That way you can see first hand, if you like it.  Likewise for GA.
