Hi all,
Ive recently purchase2 MSI GTX 460 for sli.
However ther's a problem when im using 3D Vantageto check my score, sometimes the lower half of the screen stutter very bad.
And its become worst when i launch WoW, right at the log in screen, the flipping ( refreshing very fast between desktop and log in screen ) is very very bad, i try to take a screenshot here, but the shots always looks ok.
Ive already re-install the software ( using driver sweeper to remove the previous software ), and update to the latest version, latest bios software version also.
Ive also swap the cards and still the same problem persists.

Sounds to me like you either have 1 bad video card or the SLI bridge is shot.
Try installing just 1 card at a time.
Run a benchmark for a few hours on each card to see if the problem happens, or the drivers crash.
I recommend the Heaven Benchmark.
If neither card experiences the issue after a few hours of running the benchmark then try blowing out both PCI-E slots with compressed air, securely re-seating the video cards, and making sure the SLI Bridge is secure.
If the flickering is still happening try flipping the SLI bridge around.
If it is still happening purchase a new SLI Bridge.
Most problems with flickering with an SLI setup is due to a bad bridge.
Feel free to PM me if you have any problems after trying the above steps.
Oh also make sure your power supply is big enough to handle the 2 cards + whatever other hardware you have. It's good to have at least 100w-200w left over after you total up the video card requiremements. So that means you need at least a 1000w power supply, 1200w would be even better.
Edit: Made some changes.

Hi Dameonk,
Thank you very much for your help. Forget to mention my psu is 750w.
Ive also try the method of removing 1 of the card and re-install the software, than i switch off the pc and install the 2nd card, but it dosen't detect SLI in this way.
So i un-install the software and reinstall again and sli is back.
Ive also try 3 times of turning the sli bridge around, but same problem.
Will run the software you provide and let you know again.
Thanks
Does it matter i buy the sli bridge from asus? since my motherboard is mai?

Hi Dameonk,, Its really the sli bridge fault.
Apparently msi ship 3 out of 4 faulty bridge. Thank you very much!
Wil get a new 1 soon
Thanks again!

Isn't a 750 watt PSU way too small for 460 SLI?

To use the same review that you linked to in the other thread, 433W at full GPU burn. And that's from the wall, including PSU inefficiencies, so actual system consumption will be somewhat less. Even if you managed to get the CPU going too, you're not going to see anywhere near 750W. As long as the PSU is good quality, it's fine.
A Modest Proposal for MMORPGs:
That the means of progression would not be mutually exclusive from the means of enjoyment.
All I had gathered from the review regarding power consumption was that their system used a 1200 watt PSU. This is pretty interesting news for me as I am running 9800GTX+ in SLI with a 750 Corsair, and was pretty sure any meaningfull SLI upgrade would require a new PSU.
Thanks for the clarification.
