This by no means confirms a console release, but has anyone else noticed the absence of the usual PC-DVD or Windows logos anywhere? Check out any majorly published game's site being released for the PC and you'll find those logos somewhere. Also, you'd figure a frequently asked question would be 'what platforms will this be on?" or "will this game be on consoles?" yet those questions are also absent from the FAQ.
I'm just being a conspiracy theorist here, but to me this says they are either DEFINITELY going to release it on consoles, or they havent decided yet as they are 'looking into it'. They probably dont want to pull a Cryptic or Funcom move and announce it for consoles, set up pre-orders, and then have to back out of their commitments.
Historically, Bioware has release games for both PC and consoles ever since the original KoTOR.
What are your thoughts?
Read the stickies or use the search. This has already been confirmed that this title will only be released exclusively to the PC with no future ever on consoles.
"The King and the Pawn return to the same box at the end of the game"
For one thing, the amount of voice over work in this game is immense. If they were to port it to a console, it would probably be like 8 game disks. Not to mention the problems inherent in getting an MMO control scheme to work on a console... which no one has really done to this point without relying on a keyboard/mouse. I guarantee you your fears are unfounded OP. Bioware is NOT developing this game for consoles.... it just wouldn't work in that format.

From the SWToR FAQ:
http://www.swtor.com/info/faq#top
What are the system requirements for Star Wars: The Old Republic?
While we don’t have the minimum system requirements available just yet, the goal is to make the game playable on most PCs.
Nowhere else in the FAQ does it mention "consoles" nor does it do so on the SWToR site. Case closed.
