I was not impressed by those combat vids. Player aggroing a bunch of mobs and running around two of his friends while they beat those monsters. That's... ancient! I did that shit in Baldur's Gate 1 and Bioware fixed it for BG2 because it was such an easy exploit. This is a step back. I expect better AI from today's games.

I am hoping for full open world pvp where anybody can attack anybody but a system that makes it so people dont just go around ganking.
Just what the genre needs, another dead game.
You probaly have never played a real pvp game before. The genre needs something different than killing somebody just because they are from the other side of town or having to go to an arena and duel somebody. Any real PVPer knows that pvp should have a purpose that affects the overall game. Games like Eve and Lineage 2 have such systems and thats why they are the best pvp games out.
Nice graphics, the sad thing is you prolly need a super high end PC to run this smooth.....hope it doesn't crash out when there is more than 50 ppl on your screen like Aion does.
Yep .... i'm folllowing it too .... looks very promising.
For years i've been hoping for someone to pick up old SWG ... fix the bugs and give it a new engine and graphics to look amazing. As that will never happen, ArcheAge will be the next best thing ... (on paper).
Interesting another Sub free game that is making the move towards raising the graphics bar. The class skills video was 'meh' and uninspiring. While the house, ui, and gardening looked good. Though graphics is only about a 1/3rd of what I consider for a game. Gameplay and World lore/setup being the other two. Unfornately by the time this is even brought to our shores will be emeshed in other things.
Since when has Graphics been more important than game play?
Agreed. Graphics are probably the least of my concerns.
Agreed also. That's why I wasn't all that impressed until I saw some of the features they're looking to add. I see a strong attention to detail beyond a bunch of scripted combat videos showing off spell effects. I'll be watching for sure.
