So I decided to retry this with this new season 2 patch, I quit after 1st week of it being released. set up subscription at the 14.99$ a month, click ok, then i get little error box saying check customer support and it has nothing about billing issues. Is anyone else having this problem? I get an email saying I resubsribed but account page still says i havent. maybe just a huge sign not to try it out *sigh*

I thought I saw someone else post that they were unable to resubcribe. Perhaps that service is having problems at the moment; try again later on today and see if it's back up.
"Oh my, how horrible, someone is criticizing a MMO. Oh yeah, that is what a forum is about, looking at both sides. You rather have to be critical of anything in this genre as of late because the track record of these major studios has just been appalling." -Ozmodan
Could be a problem with their account servers, but i would keep a close eye on your credit card account as several times in the past people have had errors with subbing only to find out the charges actually did go through and they end up monthly sub charges on their account.
Most of their servers go on the fritz often.
If the op really does want to resub, then cancel your account immediatly after you pay, and remove your payment method from your account right after you re activate. That way, you get the time you paid for (you can play for 30 days or however long you subbed for) and your payment info is no longer attached to your account.
How long does an open ticket take to get a response?
Wow... well ... lets just say I have tickes from launch day still open. I think STO is nearing 1 million submitted tickets. How many of those are still open... I cannot say for sure.
That's far worse than I thought the situation was; I knew from others posting that it was taking them a long time to get to tickets, but outstanding tickets from launch? Wow.

Most of them have to do with exploration missions and regular missions that have been bugged since launch.
The problem is that you are re-subscribing...
Dang, I would have thought they would have had most of the launch bugs fixed by now.

Seriously, it could be anywhere from a few days to a couple weeks if they still are having problems keeping up with the backlog of tickets. Even when you get a response, it will probably be an automated response claiming your issue has been resolved but isn't.
Ive got one from 02/04/2010. Status: In progress.
LOL
So got one response which wasnt automated, saying be escellated then it changed to an automated one from billing support
Please , this is typical Cryptic MO , they release content so that they can claim they are keeping up their end of promises . They really don't give a shit about how buggy it is, as exhibited by the bugs that remain from Beta. They've issues they've known about since before release and failed to address. They believe the issues are relatively simple fixes and can be taken care of later. The worst part of all this are the test forums are full of bug reports that go ignored to get the content out.
The thing is, it didn't use to be that way; once upon a time, back when Cryptic was making CoH and CoV, they were a decent enough studio.

3 days..I give up...
Yeah but the large majority of people involved in coh stayed on with ncsoft. The cryptic of today is no more the cryptic that produced COH than the atari of today is the atari that produced the 2600 30 years ago.
Good choice. Take it as a sign from God and count your blessings.
Keep an eye on your bank account/credit statement/whatever you were using though; given some of their past billing errors, it is entirely possible you may have been charged or will be.
