What are the absolute conditions you have for FFXIV?

So, I'm interested about the things that make you get the game (or just hype it while it's unreleased). I'd also like to know if ANYTHING takes that happy feeling away, causing you to curse at SE.
These are purely my opinions. Please make your own list, before you start commenting others.
I will start playing the game when it has ALL of the following features:
-Turn based combat (or ATB) with NO movement
-Some familiar characters (such as chocobos)
-When it's released (duh)
I swear that I won't be getting the game if it has ANY of the following features:
-Lame slow mode combat with free movement
-Subscription fee which is higher than 15€/month
-Auto combat or built in bot and/or macros which make most of the work for you

They inspire my sarcasm:
-I wont play because I heard its over 20 Euro a month, charging you 1 Euro extra for each alt, and I can't live without 9 alts.
-The combat is slow... zomg how will I get my 'button mashing fix' without cycling through the same 3-4 abilities 5 times in 5 seconds!?
-If I see even one bot I'll quit the game!
-There is no jumping? What am I supposed to do while I run around from quest to quest? Walk Normally?!!? Madness...

I will approach this one like any other, I'll play it for what it is. If I have fun, great. If not, I will move on.
I get a chuckle out of these as well. Just because something looks good (or bad) on paper does not mean the resulting execution of said concept will turn out the same.
Wonder if some of these people read the scripts for movies before then come out and write in demanding the ending or some scene be changed or they won't pay to see it. "It's not out for another month, they have time to refilm it..."
I hope Square Enix has their eyes on this thread. It's shaping up to be consumer probing gold.

As a Paying Customer and the Princess of CaterToMe-land We demand Square-Enix to obey the rules We have set for this game and We expect them to do as We wish.
If the game has no following things, We shall not play it:
A) A character creation of Aion
C) Amazing crafting features
D) 25 jobs or more.
E) At least 60 hours worth of story content, like in any Final Fantasy game.
F) No subscription fee. We do not want to pay for the game We have paid for already.
G) Frequent, Free content updates.
H) If the game has even ONE of the following things, I will not touch it:
1) Swords
2) Sorcery
3) Less than 5 expansions worth of content at start.
I) Better customer service than ever before
J) Combat that is not Slow nor Fast, feels like old FF's but is not turn-based, but not real-time either.
With these conditions, We may consider maybe looking at few reviews of this game, and if it gets more than 96% from Metacritic, We might pick it up a year later if We still remember the game exists.

L. Content difficulty equal to or less than that of watching television with every mob dropping a piece of epic gear.
Other than those two, I think you hit it pretty much dead on.
Not sure why anyone would want no movement combat. For me the first thing I look at is smooth movement. If the ui is clunky forget it. RPG's should be half game and half world. If it imitates a board game then it isnt a world.

XIV has a thoughtful combat system, but it isn't slow.

My only condition is that they have to let me play it first, and I have to be immediatly drawn in. Then I'll buy it. Until then, they won't get a dime.

Hopefully you're being sarcastic as XIV is not a sequal and it'll have nothing to do with any other FF title...its entirely new.
I will play if the game doesn't suck...that's my only thing. Make it fun.
I must say my benchmark score is soooo bad though...and my rig is only two years old. I'm going to have to drop $300-$400 on my rig to be able to play the game...so, hopefully it doesn't suck.

But on the sequel thing i always wondered why they just didnt call it Final Fantasy online instead of putting it in the numbered series. it has about as much to do with the numbered series as Tactics or Cronicals series
