Breaking News: Square Enix Adopts WoW Style Gameplay

in Final Fantasy XIV

" In an effort to appease the large number of players accustomed to WoW's interface and simplified game play, Hiromichi Tanaka unveiled earlier today his development team's combined results. Mr Tanaka was quoted saying, " Truly, we at Square Enix believe that this breed of player will be more than sated by our simplified gaming experience." " 

 

Expect to see this incorporated during phase 3.

    Have a reference to the original article by any chance? Nothing like this announced on the beta site BTW.

    Edit: nevermind, this can only be an attempt at a joke heh. So jaded at these forums.

    I am happy so far at the level of feedback they take in, they don't accept it all but are very careful about it. Even if this game was just a upgraded FF11 with soloing I would still love it. Luckily it's much more than that.

    Someone needs to tell that bird that there is NO jumping. No need to spam the space bar key.

    I really don't mind. IMO, whetever they decide to do, it's for the greater good. I have full faith in SE to pull this off.
