Sorry, players. But to say it will do anything compared to WOW or have any impact at all on WOW is just silly. it will come and go, some people will play it, but nothing that will take players away from WOW.
Any game made by a 'real' company is going to get 200,000 boxes sold just because of marketing. AOC and Warhammer had close to a million boxes sold, but subscribers are not going to leave WOW for something like GW.
There are plenty of people that play guildwars (or other mmos) that don't play wow. The market is pretty big and GW2 looks really sweet.
Good on ya Blizzard! It's nice to see some things last and I think WoW is doing very well for itself. Everyone needs to relise that Blizzard doesnt care too much about MMO's a whole I think. All they care about is continuing the Warcraft story and feel onwards. People will get sick of the same style and story for what is it 6 years its true, but we didnt count on most of the alternatives to be as lacking as they were. I'm looking at you Aion rng*grumble*. Heres to the future of WoW and onto Guild Wars2!
