Crossover - Windows & PS3

in Final Fantasy XIV

Has anyone heard if we will be able to play on both systems with one account or will it only work for the system that you first sign up on?

I want to play on PS3 but it wont come out till next year so I would like to get started with the windows version but I don't want to have to start over when the PS3 version comes out.

    Hmm yeah, the accounts are not platform-locked.

    Using LOL is like saying "my argument sucks but I still want to disagree".

    I am pretty sure on ps3 it will not require the disk to play. So if you have a friend who buys the game for there PS3 just use there disk to install, if you have already purchased the pc version. Final fantasy XI worked like this on ps2.  Once its installed you should be able to log into your account with no problem. I purchased the PC version of FF XI and was able to play on PS2. I think SE would keep that same feature for FF XIV.
