You have a chance to cut off someones arm or head, yes. But that's it, it not really a finisher, just a graphical effect which occurs time to time.

If you are considering to buy the game, I would suggest you to wait few months, it is really raw atm and unstable. Read official forums and all the complaining if you dont trust me.

Looks fucking awesome.  I  like it when I decapitate the guy and his head goes flying and his body just flops on the ground.

 It actually happens quite often.

When they are in Mercy Mode, you hit the F key to finish them off and about every 3 out of 5 times you will chop off their head.

One time a thief got Guarded in town and the Lictor chopped of the guys head.

We played Kickball with it until it disappeared.
