Not sure if you are talk about the AI skirmish or the campaign but not all units are avaliable in the multiplayer (marauder and medivac are in multiplayer). The campaign will slowly give you access to these units as you progress.
Hi expresso, thank you for your reply.
Im refering to the AI skirmish, where you can also choose co-op game play like 2 human vs 2 ai.
So now im playing 1 vs 1, me vs pc ai, not the actual campaign.
i remember playing sc 1 in human vs ai you can build all the units in game, but this i cant. The unit isnt even grey out in my barracks

Ive found the anwer http://starcraft2forum.org/forums/showthread.php?t=17186
Apparantly they remove the units due to multi-player balanceing issues

Well Medivac and maruarders are in multiplayer and vs AI. Those not are golioths, medics, firebats, wraths, mercenary units, vulture bikes, diamond backs, spectors, drop ships and science vessal. phew... still leaves 14 units for multiplayer.
Many of the units kind of overlaps each other such as medivacs are dropship+medic, hellions are firebats+vulture. And don't expect to upgrade your bunkers with a gun or have any of the units/upgrades avaliable from the research tree's.
But all that said it a balanced game at multiplayer.
Thanks, but weird i couldnt find my marauder, hmmmm
will play again and see

Back in the day when Starcraft came out I remember a really odd and persistent bug in the game that was never fixed, or at least I was able to see it in a patched version later. In a Skirmish match when playing against multiple CPU players you would find 2 or more teams marching in columns to your base. This would be pretty cool if it wasn't for the fact that the match was set to every man for himself, so watching neat columns of CPU enemies wasn't exactly my idea of fun.
I'm curious if something like this remains in Starcraft 2, does it? I only ask because you say that you are missing units in a skirmish setting.
(1)TL:DR must be your way of saying that thinking hurts. Then again, this may explain why it looks like you responded to the post without using your brain.
(2) It's not about community, is it? You just have nothing better to do.
