Installling client

in Final Fantasy XIV

I just got my beta key and did all the updates to my computer for Windows Vista, and when I try to download the updates for the client it goes ungodly slow. I usually download at about 200Kbs but the patcher jumps between 1.5Kbs to 10Kbs, then jumps back to 0 and sits for a while.

Anyone know if its something im doing wrong or what?

    Ungodly slow is right. I'm in the same boat as you, usually downloading at least at a healthy 200kbps or more. This client is quite literally going to take a full day or two to install... ugh.

    Mine is saying 20 hours and 11 minutes, does anyone know how to fix this?

    its just a idea but I think it work like torrent so, its start slow then after some time(a long one sometimes) will start to speed up,

    also who you have to kill to get the beta? XD

    Too much traffic, nothing you can do but wait it out. Just be happy you got a key.
