in Final Fantasy XIV

Will there be a difference in the races, like the Miqo'te having high AGI and DEX, the Lalafell having high mp and INT, or will the race selection be purely easthetic?

    If you go to the actual FF14 website, they explain what races excel at various jobs.  Granted, those differences probably don't matter much since SE wants you to be able to play all classes efficiently if you so choose.

    Even with the diffrerences you still get stat points to distribute making the diffrence not as important as before.
