Well I have watched a lot of videos of monster combat but yet to see anyone loot the corpse. Can anyone clarify? Do the drops auto pick up or there aren't any? Curioisity...

They automaticly go into a loot pool, after a time it goes to your inventory or you can manually click the items and do whatever.
Is pretty slow and tedius( to many windows to go threw atm , hopefully is fixed before release) i would had been happy with a FFXI type of lot system with the addition to leader being able to give the items to who he wished to( of course with an option to toggle this on and off).Im pretty happy you dont have to click on the monster to grab the lot tought.
Yeah I personally just wait for it to automatically get put into my bag. Anything involving items other than just equipping them is tedious, slow, laggy with way too many menus. It's definitely one of the worst parts of the UI.
