Hopefully the next company he applies for at least takes the time to google his name and see all of his great contributions to the genre.
Ahh, i just saw a thread about this in the STO forums. In that case my post is redundant.
Cryptic is simply out of touch with the genre, and they hired Roper to get his name attached to their company mistakingly thinking people would see it as a positive. Simple as that. I don't think he did one solitary thing to effect CO or STO. Well except damage every time he opened his trap to the press that is. Just more fail from fail ridden Craptic.
Good. They could dump all but the cleaning crew there and I'd be happy. Certainly won't hurt Cryptic.
No it's not. Many people that don't follow STO, or even CO, will have input and know of Roper. It's just fine.
Would you trust this man working for another studio again?
seriously what demographic buys, plays and enjoys cryptic titles? If you play MMO's you have some knowledge of using the internet and being informative.

It's just a blank stare from mister Roper and I wonder what kind of a personality that chooses a yellow tie?
I would go for a royal or navy blue silk tie myself but thats just me.

same could be said about all those preaching SWTOR will be the second coming of Jesus...they have Paul snake-oil-salesman Barnett involved in that game....
