Hey,
I was just wondering if this game is going to be, payed, suscribed or free. Because I think this game can get alot of out being free because the more players that enter the game, they will want items that are not normally included in the game therefore they have to buy from the item shop, if they choose.
But i would like this game to be free. What do you think?

NO NO and NO....this game will have a subfee.
Why do i day no?......i REALY dont like "free" to play games.....they make you buy stuff anyways so they are missleading the whole gamers market imho.
I think.... hell no. Why do you want to cash out so much for itemmail items when you can get all of that for free. You would be paying more plus alot of us would be angry very angry.
the thing is that those items not 'normally included' in these game used to be, until they realised they could charge you more for them as 'extras'.
Cash shops are insidious and exploitative and are bad for the customer. Open clear honest pricing via a sub is GOOD for the customer.
Hmm good argument guys, but I still think the game should be free lol =D
subbed for sure. Item-malls piss me off to no end, and this way we know rift will be updated regularly.
I had started the same thread in the Rift forums and they are saying RMT's are horrible, as i said there im starting to change my mind a little bit, so maybe ill pay.
P2P for sure, and I am glad it will be.
There are already plenty of item shop games out there. Go play one of those, and let those of us who prefer subscription games have something to look forwards to.

I say it will have a premium system like DDO, LoTRO and EQ2-X. I mean really the less hype a game has, the more chance it will have a different system of payment. Honestly this game is so far down my list, but I still would love to see it do well.......I just hope the hype builds for it. So it can have that initial burst of revenue to keep it P2P until I join the party in 2013 or 2014.

Sounds like you'd rather take a cheap product that isn't worth a sub than a quality product that's definitely worth a sub.
Either that, or you'd like an item shop implemented so you can roll cheap scrubs who don't buy the same gear you do.
Stop being cheap and fund this game so it turns out real nice in a few years
