Just As Easy to Find Groups?

DrWalnutDrWalnut Member CommonPosts: 133

I played CoX a couple years back on Freedom and quit, but one thing I really liked about the game was how easy it was to find a team. I would rarely have to wait more than two minutes to get an invite, and that was without the LFT flag. My question is if it is still very easy to find a group now with heroes and villains as it was when I last played, because I don't like soloing. I plan on playing a Demon/Pain MM and a SD/WM Tanker, if that helps. Are both heroes and villains roughly equal when it comes to finding teams? Thanks.

No problems getting groups with my heroes on Freedom, invites every 5 to 10 mins at peak times. Can't speak for villians but with the servers as packed as they are I doubt you'll have any problems finding groups.

No problems finding groups at all.

Hero-side is much more populated than Villain-side, but I think that's going to change with side-switching.

It also depends on what server you play on.

Freedom and Virtue are the highest populated.

Do people still power-level doing Architect missions all the time? One of the reasons I quit was because everybody only grouped in player-made missions for XP to 50, thus not doing story missions in the regular zones. I want to get involved in the story of the game.

The Devs reduced the rewards for AE missions and with super sidekicking everyone is SK'd or EX'd to the mission holders level for the duration of a mission. There is very little AE farming going on anymore as you will get the same amount of XP from doing regular missions so the only reason to do it anymore is for Tickets. Tickets are still quite useful, but there is very little AE farming that goes on most of the time.

The game just had a shot of nitrous put into it with going rouge, so yea its very active again and i think it will remain active for some time, but that said as soon as things start to calm down, your best bet will be freedom and viture...

As of right now all the servers are lighting up in yellow and red... hence the red ones being freedom and virture, these are times  of 4pm untill around 2am EST... the rest of the time i see people on alot but the severs are not as jamed pack.... but its easy to find a team any time right now.

I subbed to CoH this past Sunday and started a toon on Freedom. I've had no problem at all finding teams. In fact, I get invites all the time without even asking.

    Current: None
Played: WoW, CoX, SWG, LotRO, EVE, AoC, VG, CO, Ryzom, DF, WAR
Tried: Lineage2, Dofus, EQ2, CoS, FE, UO, Wurm, Wakfu
Future: The Repopulation, ArcheAge, Black Desert, EQN

Redside Virtue has low pop because everyones going to blue/yellow side.

But then go in talos and youll generally have a TON of people looking for teams/looking for more
