That kind of combat is what drives me to play this game, probably because its so similar to old school final fantasies.
Not really sure what other problems he could have listed, but the graphic settings and mouse sensitivity sound like minor fixes.
I would really prefer it on my ps3 anyways, that way I wouldn't have to worry about it not running on my computer as well as it could compared to other pc / mac users. I'll probably buy it for my pc anyways because I'm sick of waiting.
I'm waiting for FFXIV and KOTOR online, so w/e playing anything that has my interests is better than not playing anything at all regardless how it may suck or not. At least I find out with my own experience instead of taking complete strangers opinions to heart.
He comes off a little too angry but I will agree with him on SE not really listening to the fanbase. They didn't do it in FFXI untill a good amount of the community moved on. In SE's defence they are trying to cater to different markets but even the SE fanatics have to admit that a game like WoW does well over there. So the argument that thats just how the asians design and love their games and SE isn't gonna change it to fit our demograph is just a bad logic. Back when FFXI released there wasn't as much competition ( an d by that i mean REAL competition ) so to try to justify this many problems with the game so close to launch by saying other games weren't perfect either is also a bad take on it. With the good games on the horizon I can't understand them releasing it as bad as it is looking, unless they are rushing to get the product out before the others hit the market.
Either way I was stoked about this game a few months ago but after reading bad reviews and mostly complaints, throw in the system requirements, and how much of a time sink their last MMO was I think I'll be passen for now untill I can see what they do about it. They are a good company imo but they are really gonna have to pull it together to compete. I am sure they will have a respectible fanbase seeing how many come to thier defence just from haven played 11 but I aint sure its enough to take away from the other titles.

But people like him shouldnt be playing beta cause hes acting like its release granted ffxiv will not be perfect at release.
This guyd oesn tunderstand what a BETA IS so people like him shouldnt be betaign a game if he going to throw it under the rug already. WoW wasnt no sunshine in beta either
Just played the beta for an hour. Promptly cancelled my pre-order. I'll probably elaborate on why the game is the most disappointing MMO I've ever played but it's late right now.
Haha yea, joining a beta is to improve the game by reporting bugs, obviously he didn't help SE any and therefor cost SE a retail price, not only that he goes on youtube and demotes this game trying to get people NOT to buy the game, costing SE even more money. He obviously doesn't have good negotiating skills, why would SE listen to insults? Maybe try posting something more respectful and politely explain why the game isn't going to succeed.
Anyways it was a beta and instead of treating it like a free ride to play a game, should of treated it like video tester job to help better yourself and the company.
No wonder it was so hard trying to get in the closed beta, because it's so hard to find good help testing games.
I think he is kind of cute, almost thought he was Japanese until he said their games sucked.
