Modding and the UI

Has any information been released regarding UI modding and how open the UI will be?

At 2:40 in this video they mess with the interface.  http://www.glimpsedog.com/content/353-video-hands-tera.html

If you mean like what wow has in regards to user made mods, no word from BHS about that.  My guess would be no.

Velika: City of Wheels: Among the mortal races, the humans were the only one that never built cities or great empires; a curse laid upon them by their creator, Gidd, forced them to wander as nomads for twenty centuries...

Yeah I highly doubt it will be really customizable like by user made addon style things it just opens the door to botting and rigged addons.

I am really on the fence when it comes to mods, I did love the modding in WoW and the fact there were so many of them to choose from, and it was great to sometimes just get a useless thing but it made it a little bit nicer, on the other hand the updating and the breaking of the mods and errors were a big downside.

See, I like wow and WAR style modding, but it requires a lot more admins and devs to keep from becoming gateways to cheats and bots. I do want my  UI fully customizable and resizeable though and letting people add features, etc (dps meters, threat meters) is wha most games should allow. I think that UI's should be open, but carefully and Blizzard has run into every possible bot, hack, and cheat that they have had to fix becuase of modding.
