Computer case modding question

BenthonBenthon Member Posts: 2,069

Is it possible to take a fan from a computer case (Thermaltake G, or anything really) and install it in another computer case? I'm trying to see if I can be lazy and not get out the soldering iron for a 200mm green LED fan and just buy another case and put it in a new one.

If anyone has any 200mm Green LED fans for sale, I'll buy them! :P

Thanks.

Yes it is possible as long as it has the proper connectors, IE. 4 pin connector or the smaller 3 pin MB Connector.

Yes, as long as you have the right connectors, and your power supply can handle the extra payload. You can add tons to your computer, you just have to make sure you have a large enough power supply to handle it.
