I keep getting an error just opening up the launcher. 11000 version update fail, anyone else having this issue?

I'm on boot version 2010.08.27.2001 and downloading d2010.08.30.2000 just fine
I also have a friend currently downloading boot version 2010.08.27.2001. However, it's going painfully slow for him.
I got the 27 one but its not updating to the 30 one. And it says Maintenance and I cant do anything more.
Well, it did do something really funky when it tried to update to 27, it opened like 100+ windows asking for admin rights to do the patch. Got stuck in a loop or something, but I logged out and back in and reran it and it updated correctly.

Same here.... if by "just fine" you mean "really, really slow". hehehe
That's for the actual game servers. The patch server isn't linked to the browser involved with booting the game.
I'm on boot version 2010.08.27.2001 BUT it is NOT downloading the 2010.08.30 update which is suppose to be 1.24gb. The only thing I get up is checking version and then the Maintenance screen. What am I doing wrong?
The maintenance is them getting ready for open beta tomorrow.
I cant evne get past the little small blue launcher to get to the login launcher.
I open the boot thing, and i just get an instance launcher failed to initialize, and then i uninstalled it all and reinstalled the downloader from scratch and it wont even start to download again. just getting failed to initailize.
I can post on the beta forums to post about it there because of their weird global login system nonsense.

is that why I am not able to update my version to the current version then?
Who knows, maybe their update servers are down.
I appear to be in the same boat as you. I'm force downloading the 1.23gig patch through uTorrent. So, we'll see what happens.

Yes... but arent you susposed to get a beta key for the open beta? Even if you got the client, it might not be sure youll be able to play lol.

SE beta launcher fail, nothing surprising... I mean, I downloaded 4.3% at 20kb/sec but i've been uploading max for the whoe time and now it's stuck to 0.0kb/s dl while I'm uploading max? hahaha what a load of bullshit this is.
