Vastness of EVE

Graphics of Lineage ][

Crafting of SWG

Playerbase of World of Warcraft (quanity, not quality; ie. don't want a ghost town)

Storyline depth of Mass Effect 2

There such a game? Plan on doing a trial this week for Fallen Earth, but my doubts are high. Any other suggestions? Preferably with a trial of some sort. Thanks.

Dunno bout the graphics, but maybe you should go froob it a bit in AO

Actually come to think of it, maybe Fallen Earth is going to fulfill your needs.. dunno how the player base is these days, but it's got an extensive story, a vast world, fairly decent crafting, decent graphics, etc, etc

You dont need the playerbase of wow to have a full server... Or do you need 1000 (full) servers to be happy

That's what I kinda meant. To be able to log onto a server and a community to interact with. I meant playerbase of a server, not the entire game. =P

Your only options that have the "crafting of SWG" are the following:

Saga of Ryzom - slightly quirky sci-fantasy MMORPG. Relatively low population.

Istaria - fantasy sandbox MMORPG. Low population.

Vanguard - VAST fantasy MMORPG. Has all your requirements, except it has a VERY low population.

Fallen Earth - Smallish game world, decent population. Seems to be experiencing a population boom of sorts, but will never compete with WoW for server density.

Basically, if you're looking for large numbers of people in a game like this, you're out of luck. However, there are some fantastic communities in all the games I mentioned above, as long as you can stand less-than-AAA-populations.

    This (QFE)

I dont know of any game that feels a dense population-wise as WoW, at least, not one that fits your  requests.

With those expectations I am not surprised that your doubts are high.  FE is a great game but has a few flaws.  I love it personally and it is the closest thing to the feeling of SWG I have gotten so far.. . the storyline is actually very good. . but don't expect dramatic cut-scenes etc.    The genre is just tired.  People will tell you you are burnt out. . ..I think it is the other way around. . nothing that doesn't seem like at least 80% of something you have done before..    the new 20% is enough to hook you for a month or two :)

Wa min God! Se æx on min heafod is!

Yeah, FE is the only thing I can think of that comes close to any of this. Maybe EQ2 as well? I don't know about the crafting but I know the world is huge, the graphics are good and there's a fair amount of people.

RIFT was a *crushing* disappointment; a shallow, loveless, generic MMO the likes of which hasn't been seen in a P2P format since, well, forever.

Eagerly awaiting: World of Darkness, ArcheAge.
