Oh the game is absolutely 'stunning' in appearance. They have great transitions, beautiful and smooth movements of light and shadow and I enjoy how it appears when you exit and enter a cave.

But the welcome of this creamy cosmetic coating reveals to be only a thin candy shell, that doesn't have the smooth milk chocolate beneath it as one would expect. I neglect to mention that the traveling is so laborious, you often wish their was a zone so you can actually takea break for a second or two and peal your eyes from the screen. Or that 'zones' still exist, but instead of brief back screens - they are now vast cut & paste sections of land that are exactly the same. Annoying to walk through, easy to spot from any distance.

Finally, I mentioned caved before. I neglected to mention it's the exact same cave over and over.. Even if you're in a different part of the world, it's still the exact same cave. They just copied & pasted the cave mesh and applied to every cave in the game. Grand.

I've been playing MMORPGs for a long, long time. And I've developed a sort of 'sixth sense' which just tells me when an MMORPG isn't going to last very long, or struggle over all. So far, I haven't been wrong once - every prediction I've made has panned out.

I just feel that Final Fantasy XIV will fail. Believe me or not, laugh and post little images if you will - but serously. This game just isn't going to work out. Square Enix is still riding on the success of their former name, SquareSoft..  That company is not the way is was, and it shows. They'd best just stick to Fighting Games, because that's what they do best now. They just can't build RPGs & MMORPGs worth a damn anymore.

When I say that can't make them worth a damn, I mean for the masses. Not those of you in the minority who actually 'liked' thier RPG games since 2003.

Hey. How about you stfu and gtfo. =]  Why even come here if you have no interest in the game?  I fed you... now go back under your bridge.

You are the definition of a fanboy. These forums are for final fantasy 14. Anyone can voice their opinion on the game no matter if they are positive or negative as long as its constructive.

The problem is his apparent evaluation of the game is based on a "sixth sense" (are you a wizard?)

He sure can voice his opinion, but unless it appears actually thought out, and as you said, constructive, he'll get responses as such most likely.

Glad you pointed that out. You can actually trace the moment where I decided not to actually go into a long, well put together argument and just break it down to something as simple as a 'sixth sense'. This sene, is actually juat natural logic and experience developed over a long period of time. In order to avoid the typical novel-length post I average in any forum, I just summed things up. Posted below is the moment where I actively chose to avoid expressing deeper thought:

Hey, hold on there. Ninjas have sixth sense. And an occasional boy who can see dead people. Wizards might augment their perception to simulate the sixth sense, but that's not the same thing.

    I'm so totally on-topic, aren't I.
