i dont seem to share that luck.
now watch a bunch of non eu moochers take all the eu keys lol i camped the na site till i got my na key at least. if only torrents didnt suck so hard when theres no good seeds i could be playing. ffs people ftp far superior to torrents!

Same here 15 mins ago.
they have probaply unlimited keys avaiable. but the servers are flooded.
Same as with WoW WotLK release. i had the game installed and was waiting for the site to update so i could upgrade my acount and head to northrend. I couldnt for a good 10 mins because the site was overpopulated by people who did not even have a key. Just because they wanted to see how the site opdated.. aka insert key code here....
could someone who got a key pls tell me how it works? do you apply and are give key on the web, or via the mail?
I ask cause I did apply, was told that a mail was send to my email address ..... and thats all, no mail came, no key was given to me on the web.
where can EU ppl get a key? any link pls?
Got the email in seconds so not sure what happened there for you - try requesting another one?
How to get a beta key:
Go to the official Final Fantasy XIV website (just put Final Fantasy XIV in google and pick the official one), select your country and then you'll be taken over to a registration window. If you haven't registered with Square before, you've got to do this first (it's just before half way down the page) and then start filling it all in.
It gives instructions on what to do, just follow them.

But the laughable thing right now is that the acountmastery site itself gives errors :P
i have a feeling i wont be playing in 6 hours.. ah need to download it also :P

Yeah, EU keys are now suspended. Spent all day getting a congested server error only to finally get past that and find there are no keys left lol.
well i got a key.
finnaly was able to update my acount,
the email then sends you to a bea test site to download the game. You need to login there and it does not recognize me for some reason. im apearantly not a beta tester but i do have my service activated..
