I wasn't even gonna post on this but its benn pissing me off for months now and this late in its just way too much
Please please please if you have a pre order stop dropping by these forums to threaten to cancel it unless you get help. Help comes easy here but we can't stop you from canceling your pre order and no one is going to try. If you ask for help likley youll get it but this late in I feel that its a load a crap to tell us your going to cancel your pre order you might aswell go ahead and do it instead of annoucing it here for all of us. After months of this garbage it be nice if it stopped. I think all of us wants lots of folks to play but we arent the devs we don't control a thing so we arent they ones tasked with convincing you. If you have a reason to cancel your pre order and its sufficient enough for you go ahead and do it thats your choice and all any1 can do is respect it . However. we dont need every person with 3-7 post jumping on here proclaiming im canceling my pre order if "x" doesnt happen. Dont be like that just ask for help.

Actually it may effect somebody elses dicesion to buy this game. That's why people keep posting about canceling their pre-order. They hope that their post and the several others of people doing the same , may turn other people off to the game.

More serious it is really annoying and since 99% claim that Square does not listen to them I think the chances that Square listens to them in a miracle at this place is very unlikely. Thinking about I actually liked the fact that FF 11 never had a Forum.

They feel like it's their divine duty to help others realize their folly. ...or they're just scared of doing something by themselves for once. =]

It's actually pretty funny to read people rant that they will cancel their pre-orders because they can't get into open beta which they weren't guaranteed.
I for one haven't been as entertained since Aion's release, I actually made a batch of popcorn last night just to read all of the rage posts last night haha..
Oh well looking forward to guild wars 2 release to have some more laughs.

LOL, let them drop the pre-order i say, i could care less,. its not like I'm getting a cut of the profits. As to why your getting pissed off about it , you shouldn't waste your breath on such no-lives.
But why are you taking it upon yourself to turn other people off the game?
I gues its because people are sheep and are stupid enough to quit a game before even trying it themselves because some stranger tehy never met, and probably never gamed with, and never will game with told them THEY dont like the game you were looking forward too, so you base your decision to play that game on this strangers dislike.
It is a sound decision in my opinion.

Either way none of it matters I still dont see how posting your canceling your pre order here has that ripple effect this isnt even the main source for FFXIV info. My main gripe its been literally months of this "I am canceling my pre order because of "X" now fix it for me or convince me other wise." How is that our jobs? True in the long we may care how many players will play the game but why do we have to beg each pre order who uses their pre order as a threat to stay. Lol I miss the threads where some1 would just rip the game and prepare to be flamed at least it was more entertaining.

How about this: After playing in open beta last night for about 2 hours I have decided to pre-order!
If I don't get a million dollars I will cancel my preorder for FFXIV SE so please make the check out to me
. To stay on topic just let em cancel, like someone said they are sheep but I consider them lemmings and the community will be better off without them. If a total stranger can convience them to do something I can't imagine how people they know treat them. Looking at your sig mainvein33 make me want to re watch Claymore again, I just wish they made another season of the anime.
I don't see the people who say they are going to cancel their pre orders as asking for help from this forum. I see it as two things, those who want to stir up the "you know what" and those who are venting frustration and/or hoping that SE reads these forums and will make changes (silly rabbits but they can hope). Your post falls into needing to vent which is OK, we all do it. Just take things with a grain of salt or if you are that frustrated, maybe time to take a forum break.
Haha the best part is I bet 1 out of every 30 of them even had a preorder in the first place. I just picture this old man waving his hands saying 'ooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh' sarcastically.

Poster ask a question clarifies and gets an answer from the community nough said. No angry threats no frustrated rant its straight forward and simple. for months the issues with this title have been poked and proded discussed debated and argued here and despite the high emotion the fact is it was actually worth while. Those who grew to hate this game left this part of the forums for places unknown. Those who remain accepted what was given to them and whether it be fan boy or loyalist or those who actually just like the game on its own merits. Either way less than a month to go with OB out a new wave of BS is approaching so lets pack up sand bags before it hits.
