Well, I think the downloader  / patcher is er..well not the greatest thing ever, but unfortunately I haven't had any success with bitcommet either, it's predicted time to finish is almost 3 times longer than the official patcher, of course the official patcher hangs at 0.0 download forever too.

 

Basically I think I'm guna stop fighting it and just have to patiently await the official patcher.  *Sigh*

Use Utorrent and be patient. Mine started at 14 hours and increased to the point that it finished in 3 hours.

 I used megaupload took me 3 hours to down load launcher and all patches, now if I could just get a key I am set.
